Stewart Connector is a designer, developer, and manufacturer of Ethernet solutions. The firm, which is part of the Bel Fuse Group, maintains an office in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania. The vendor’s parent company employs nearly 7,000 people and has subsidiaries in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
Stewart Connector’s products primarily have applications in the office equipment, industrial, home appliance, renewable energy, video game, medical, lighting, robotics, transport, personal electronics, telecom, and Internet of Things (IoT) industries.
The firm’s portfolio is headlined by RJ-45, M12 X-Code, 2.5G, HDMI, ARJ45 category 7a, automotive, printed circuit board, and USB Type-A/B/C/2.0 connectors. It also offers 60300 series jacks, USB 2.0/3.0 cables, MRJ21 cable assemblies, SFP+ cages, and multi axis punch down and IP20 modular plugs.
Many years ago, the company began its life as a subsidiary of Insilco Corporation. During that period, it established a reputation for producing groundbreaking and best-in-class interconnect products. In 2003, Bel purchased some of Insilco’s assets, including Stewart Connector. Shortly thereafter, the conglomerate used its reach to bring its new division's offerings to clients across the world.

The company recently reaffirmed its legacy with the launch of its new Mid-Plane RJ-45 Connectors. The product family supports 1G/2.5G data transmission rates, with transmission frequencies up to 100MHz. The series has a 25 percent height reduction compared to all the components of the same type. In addition, the line has an operational tempureture range of -40°C to 85°C.
Mid-Plane RJ-45 line, which is available in single and four-port varieties, is ideal for IoT projects with space constraints.
